  • Data Acquisition Modules

    Advantech's data acquisition modules and ethernet I/O modules provide ideal industrial control and measurement solutions for harsh environments and demanding applications. With wide operating temperature ranges and multiple mounting methods, Advantech's ADAM series, such as RS-485-based and ethernet I/O, can be implemented in diverse applications.     • ADAM-4520

      Most industrial computer systems come with standard RS-232 serial ports. Though widely accepted, RS-232 has limited transmission speed, range, and networking capabilities. The RS-422 and RS-485 standards overcome these limitations by using differential voltage lines for data and control signals. The ADAM-4520/4522 converter lets you take advantage of RS-422 and RS-485 on systems originally equipped with RS-232. It transparently converts RS-232 signals into isolated RS-422 or RS-485 signals. You do not need to change your PC's hardware or your software. The ADAM-4520 lets you easily build an industrial grade, long distance communication system with standard PC hardware. It extends the communication distance by 4000 ft. (1200 m) or increases the maximum number of connected nodes by 32.

Equipped with a wide operating temperature range of -20 ~ 60oC (-4 ~140oF), it can satisfy the demands of a wide range of harsh industrial applications. This industrial monitor model also features an enhanced 5-wire resistive touch and system isolation to enhance the reliability. Moreover, the FPM-8151H is designed to be safely operated in these locations and is undergoing certification to be UL listed for Hazardous Locations with Class I, Division 2.

      In hazardous locations, devices are under potential danger from flammable gases, combustible dust, or ignitable fibers, creating the potential for fire and explosions. UNO-1172AH are designed to be safely operated in these locations and are UL listed for Hazardous Locations with Class I, Division 2, groups A, B, C, D & T5 certification. The UNO-1172AH is an Intel Atom DIN-rail PC which features an innovative system diagnosis feature for automation applications. They provide alarms for over temperature, over voltage, battery power fail, power status on both system onboard LED and Digital output. They also include remote power control through digital input. These system diagnosis features enable control and monitoring of system status remotely. Three Gigabit Ethernet interfaces with teaming function support allow users to uplink two ports with data transmission fault tolerance and downlink one port to field device.
