    • APAX-5620KW

      APAX-5620KW is a RISC-based Controller with an Intel XScale PXA270 CP. It also features two CAN bus interfaces, which support CANOpen stack (DS301 & 302), and two RS-485 ports allowing it to connect to remote I/O devices as well as being able to support up to 32 APAX I/O modules. The APAX-5620KW supports Microsoft Visual Studio, and .Net programming language, thereby allowing PC-based users to easily develop their own applications. It is also compatible with IEC-61131-3 based Multiprog KW languages, which allow users to download change functions and time deterministic support.   • Communication and Storage Expansion Modules

    The APAX Remote I/O series communication modules are designed for control markets because of their high density I/O points, flexibility, scalability, and hot-swappable functionality and also variety I/O selections.   • Digital I/O Modules

    The Advantech APAX-5000 digital input/output modules (APAX-5040) are equipped with high density 24 channels, isolation, shirt short circuit protection, failure protection functions and hot swap functionality to increase the utilization rate of this APAX-5040 digital input/output module and provide a reliable system.

    • APAX-5046SO

      APAX-5046 modules offer 20 source type relay output channels. Their output channels can generate discrete signal to external devices and change its output value to control the external devices.
    • APAX-5080

      Advantech’s APAX-5080 Counter Module features up to eight channels and hot-swappable functionality. With its 4/8 counter channels, the APAX-5080 is capable of simultaneously taking counts from multiple sources using any of its five operating modes ( UP, UP/Down, Frequency, Pulse/Direction, and A/B Phase modes), therefore saving hardware installation costs and having greater scalability. The flexibility of the APAX-5080 is enhanced with the additional benefit of four DI counter gates to define when a counter is enabled, and four DO alarm output channels triggered by a specific counter value; so that the APAX-5080 can be configured to send an alarm message when certain criteria are met.
  • Backplane Modules

    Advantech's APAX backplane modules are designed to connect APAX modules in a flexible and convenient way. The APAX backplane modules, the APAX-5001 and APAX-5002, are in accordance with 1-slot and 2-slot backplanes for different APAX modules connecting requirements. Furthermore, the APAX-5002 is equipped with an RJ-45 port which can support flexible remote control architectures.

  • Power Supply Modules

    Advantech’s APAX-5343 and APAX-5343E power supply modules with 72W output power have passed Energy Star compliance and provide a power transmission efficiency of over 88% from AC input to DC output, providing power for more APAX modules. They have also passed UL 508 certification, demonstrating that they are suitable for safe operation in industrial environments. In order to protect the devices from overloading, voltage spikes and short-circuits the APAX-5343 and APAX-5343E power supply modules include an auto-recovery mode which ensures they’ll continue to work normally in the event of an electrical problem.

      Advantech’s APAX-5342 power supply modules with 96W output power. It has passed Energy Star compliance and provide a power transmission efficiency of over 88% from AC input to DC output, providing power for more APAX modules.
